Patty's cover of "Moon River", featured during the credits of Elizabethtown, is set to be released on Elizabethtown - Volume 2, the second soundtrack album for the film. The release date is slated for February 7, 2006 - the same day as the release of the film on DVD.

A new video featuring Patty's "Long Ride Home," intercut with scenes from the forthcoming film, "Elizabethtown," has been posted online at CMT.com. You can check the video out here. (may work best in Internet Explorer.)

Patty will make her big-screen debut in Cameron Crowe's latest film, Elizabethtown, which will premiere at the 62nd Venice Film Festival and is slated for US release on October 14th.

It is also rumored that a Patty Griffin song may be included on the Elizabethtown soundtrack. Keep your eye on Amazon.com for the tracklisting.
